| Low Cost, Full-featured VoIP Appliance for Passive Monitoring and Active Testing Applications | ||||
Voyager is a budget-priced active/passive VoIP probe targeted at small business, branch office, and workgroup applications. Voyager's integrated VQmon performance analysis technology provides continuous non-intrusive monitoring of VoIP call quality and real-time reporting of quality scores (including MOS and R-factor scores for listening and conversational quality), performance metrics, and alerts. An integrated DVQattest active test agent enables Voyager to generate live test calls to other Voyager units, DVQattest Agents, or SIP-enabled endpoints such as IP phones, for advanced troubleshooting or SLA monitoring applications.

| Affordable Solution for Small Office or Large-scale Branch Office Deployments | ||||
Voyager provides 100 Base-T full duplex monitoring capability and includes an integrated passive tap for easy installation. Its small form factor and affordable price make Voyager ideal for use in small office or workgroup environments or for large-scale deployment in multiple locations, such as branch offices and retail chain stores, where it would be impractical to deploy large numbers of costly network or VoIP probes. Voyager can be used alone or in combination with SQprobe deployed in a main enterprise office or service provider site for end-to-end performance monitoring and troubleshooting of VoIP services in large network environments. |

Accurate Real-time Quality Scores and Performance Metrics for Live Calls and Test Calls Voyager generates both listening and conversational quality MOS and R-factor scores and a wide range of diagnostic data, providing access to them in real time through its integrated SNMP agent and Web user interface. Voyager's highly accurate call quality scores and performance metrics are generated by VQmon/SA, which improves on the accuracy of the ITU E Model and ETSI TS 101 329-5 Annex E by adding a number of extensions that calculate the impact of time-varying network conditions, wideband codecs, orthogonal impairments, and signal-related parameters. |
