Position Overview

Telchemy is the leading provider of software technology for analyzing the quality of IP based voice and video communications. Telchemy's products are used by large Enterprise, Service Providers, State and Local Government departments, Healthcare systems, Schools and Universities to manage their VoIP and Video services. This position provides an excellent entry level opportunity for a technically knowledgeable person to develop a career in software technology sales and marketing.

The Sales Specialist will be responsible for facilitating revenue generation for Telchemy's applications performance management products, working closely with both field based Sales personnel and with support, management and development groups. This is a full time position located in Telchemy's Duluth, GA office.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential new customers and maintain contact/lead lists
  • Handle incoming sales calls, provide high level product information to potential customers
  • Update sales administration and customer portal systems
  • Make introductory outbound calls to potential customers

Required Qualifications

  • 2 or 4 year college degree
  • 2+ years of experience in sales or marketing
  • High level of familiarity with business/enterprise networking products or software
  • Good written and verbal communications skills

Software Engineer

We develop next generation network management products that use advanced web application technology, analytics and interactive data visualization, these applications are used by service providers, enterprise and government to manage their VoIP, IP Videoconferencing, Video Streaming and IPTV services. Telchemy is at the forefront of the industry's move to software probes and the virtualized performance management ecosystem.

We are seeking entry level software engineers with a strong academic background and a keen interest in high performance real time applications software development. The successful candidates will work as part of a team developing Telchemy's real time voice/video analytics technology and the SQprobe and DVQattest performance monitoring applications.

Required Qualifications

  • 4 year degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a respected US university
  • Excellent understanding of data structures, algorithms, threading and concurrency, complexity
  • Good C/C++ programming skills
  • Good understanding of Linux and Linux system programming
  • Some understanding of operating systems and kernels

National Enterprise Sales Manager

Telchemy is at the forefront of the industry's move to software probes and the virtualized performance management ecosystem.

The National Enterprise Sales Manager is responsible for selling and marketing Telchemy Network Performance and Management Applications encompassing both Active and Passive monitoring and management to large enterprise, healthcare and education customers in North America.

Job Description and Responsibilities

  • Identify sales opportunities in new and existing VoIP and Videoconferencing deployments
  • Prospect for new customers and expand existing relationships to generate new revenue
  • Establish relationships with VARs, System Integrators and Resellers to drive incremental revenue
  • Prepare activity and forecast reports as requested
  • Prepare and execute a comprehensive annual Sales Plan
  • Work with Sales Engineering to prepare account strategies and plans
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Telchemy competitive positioning in the marketplace
  • Meet or exceed revenue quota

Required Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent
  • Experience selling network / management applications to large enterprises
  • Proven track record generating revenue from new business
  • Excellent knowledge of VoIP, telecom basics, IP networking
  • Intimate knowledge of networking industry and network management
  • 3+ years sales experience within at least one of the following:
    • Selling Managed/Cloud Services to large enterprise
    • Infrastructure Services and Solutions (i.e.: VMWare, HP, IBM, Sun, etc.)
    • Applications (i.e.: Network Management, Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, etc.)
    • Networking (i.e.: Cisco, Juniper etc.)
  • Selling cycle of deals you've worked on in the past should be 3-9 months
  • Have 5+ years direct sales success in the enterprise market
  • Demonstrated understanding of our industry, customer needs and competitive landscape
  • Effective selling via phone/web conference
  • Willing to travel within as needed for customer visits
