Empirix Licenses VQmon for Hammer Call Analyzer and PacketSphere

Atlanta, GA (August 11, 2003) - Telchemy, the leading provider of software for real time Voice over IP call quality monitoring announced today that Empirix has licensed Telchemy's VQmon call quality monitoring and analysis software for use in its Hammer Call Analyzer and PacketSphere Voice over IP test equipment. VQmon provides fast accurate real-time analysis of Voice over IP calls, generating call quality metrics and detailed diagnostic information.

The Hammer Call Analyzer is the industry's first VoIP-aware protocol analyzer. The recently released version 1.2 incorporates VQmon to add media analysis to the tool's unique signaling analysis capabilities. The PacketSphere is a network processor-based platform for emulating and monitoring IP networks.
