Telchemy Partners with Acetronix to Bring QoS Technology to the Korean Market

Major Technology Distributor Launches Telchemy Presence in Korea

ATLANTA, GA (December 04, 2002) - Telchemy®, Inc., an industry leader in Voice and Video over IP (V2oIP) real-time Service "Quality-of-Experience" (QoE) monitoring, analysis and expert diagnostics, is pleased to announce that AceTronix Co., a leading value-added distributor (VAD) in Korea, has become a reseller of Telchemy's powerful VQmon® family of embedded V2oIP management products for the Korean market. With extensive embedded and VoIP industry experience, AceTronix has many existing relationships in V2oIP, the ability to provide superior local technical service and proven success in penetrating emerging markets.

IP Telephony is growing rapidly in Korea despite the current economic slow down, as VoIP has become a key value-added service in Korea's fast growing broadband market. The leading Korean service providers are implementing Service Level Agreements based on the voice quality experienced over VoIP services. Service providers are also offering pricing plans based upon agreed to call quality levels. Industry analysts see real-time call quality metrics and service degradation analytics as key requirements in driving VoIP's continued success.

"We are very pleased to have AceTronix representing us in Korea", said Dr. Alan Clark, CEO and founder of Telchemy. "Their experience with VoIP-related products such as with Telogy software from Telchemy partner Texas Instruments, and their technically strong field engineering group will help to bring the benefits of Telchemy's real time VoIP QoE embedded management software to the nascent Korean market" added Dr. Clark.

"After reviewing Telchemy's VQmon technology we believe we have the right solution for our expanding market," said Mr. Young-Sool Chang, President of AceTronix Co. LTD. "VoIP service QoE management is extremely important at this juncture as the Korean market for VoIP is expanding rapidly," Mr. Chang added. "We look forward to working closely with Telchemy and supporting customers locally with our technically skilled field engineering group in making VQmon technology successful in Korea."
