Analysis for Videoconferencing and IPTV
Specifically designed
for integration in network analyzers, IPTV probes,
residential gateways, IP set top boxes, videoconferencing
and test equipment, VQmon/SA-VM efficiently
analyzes multiple parallel packet (either RTP
or MPEG Transport) video streams producing Telchemy
Video Quality Metrics (TVQM). Video stream subjective
quality estimates and detailed diagnostics for
each stream can be produced either at the end
of each call or at any point during a call, providing
much greater insight than simpler aproaches measuring
average loss/jitter.
Key advantages of
VQmon/SA-VM are:-
- Analyzes
Scrambled/ Encrypted streams
- Analyzes impact
of loss in I, B and P frames (see
demo here)
VQmon/SA-VM adds non-intrusive
video monitoring support to VQmon/SA for H.261,
H.263, H.263+, MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4, VC1 and
other key video codecs with support for both
RTP and MPEG Transport based streams. VQmon/SA-VM
is ideal for monitoring videoconferencing and
video streaming sessions, and is small, fast
and lightweight, taking a small fraction of
a MIP to produce a wide range of video transmission
performance metrics. VQmon/SA-VM may be used
for video monitoring or in conjunction with
VQmon/SA for monitoring both voice and video
over IP.
