Acterna Partners with Telchemy to Integrate VoIP Features Into HST-3000 Handheld Tester
ATLANTA, GA (February 24, 2004) - Telchemy, the leading provider of software for real time Voice over IP (VoIP) call quality monitoring, announced today that Acterna has licensed Telchemy's VQmon call quality monitoring and analysis software for use in the Acterna HST-3000, telecommunication field service's most integrated, rugged and cost-effective test solution. VQmon provides fast accurate real-time analysis of Voice over IP calls, generating call quality metrics and detailed diagnostic information.

Acterna also recently expanded the HST-3000's signaling support to include Cisco Systems ("Skinny") Protocol and SIP. Several Acterna customers deploying IP Centrex-based VoIP service have already embraced this solution and the scope of protocols and functionality supported will continue to grow.
